Membership policies

Oshinstar memberships allow your fans to join your channel for monthly payments and get exclusive members-only benefits, such as badges and other benefits you offer. If you qualify, these policies and guidelines will help you avoid problems.

Minimum eligibility requirements

You must meet certain minimum requirements in order to be considered eligible for Oshinstar Talent memberships.

Please note that meeting the following requirements does not automatically qualify you for Talent memberships.

  • The account must be verified.

  • The account must have Pro mode enabled.

  • You must be over 18 years of age.

  • Account cannot be an Individual Limited Account or have any penalties.

  • Videos set up as created for children or those with musical content claims are not considered eligible.

  • Talent must accept and comply with our terms and policies.

Membership Policies

Participating talent and fan sponsors must agree to and comply wi

th the following:

All benefits you offer to the community and your Fan Sponsors are subject to these policies. We may update policies from time to time.

In addition, you must continue to comply with all relevant laws in accordance with the Oshinstar Terms of Service. The money you earn from your account memberships may be treated differently depending on the laws that apply to you and your activities.

Channel memberships are not crowdfunding or donation tools. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including those relating to your ability to enable and offer your account memberships, as well as receive money for them.

We often use indicators to identify potentially fraudulent or abusive behavior. If we detect any such indicators, we will terminate access to memberships. We reserve the right to take this action on any Oshinstar account.

You should be aware of our penalty system for non-compliance with the Community Guidelines and know that there is a possibility that you may lose your privileges if you engage in behavior that harms the Oshinstar community.

Benefit guidelines and membership content

The membership benefits you offer, such as perks, videos, photos, live chats and other content, are subject to membership guidelines and policies.

While you may offer benefits in a way that makes your sponsoring fans feel special, the following exclusive benefits for sponsoring fans are not permitted under our policies and terms:

  • Downloads of content (including music) available on Oshinstar.

  • Individual face-to-face meetings

  • Any benefits that one or more of your sponsoring fans may randomly receive, including but not limited to the following events: Contests, lotteries, sweepstakes.

  • Benefits that are marketed or targeted to, or may be attractive or inappropriate for, children.

  • Benefits that encourage children to ask their parents to join your membership.

Non-compliance with policies and guidelines

Pause Mode

Your channel memberships will be paused in the following cases:

  • If you mark your channel as created for children.

What happens when the channel is in pause mode?

In pause mode, sponsoring fans cannot access membership offers on your account, and any payments they send will be paused. The "Join" button will also disappear from your channel.

Please note that fan sponsors can cancel their membership at any time, even when the channel is in pause mode.

How to exit pause mode

To leave pause mode and resume memberships, the talent and the sponsoring fan must agree to and comply with our terms and policies.

Once memberships resume, members will once again be able to access the channel's exclusive offers. They will be charged again at the beginning of the next billing cycle, unless they cancel the service.

What happens when your channel is in pause mode for more than 90 days?

If you do not resume channel memberships within 90 days, your channel memberships will be cancelled and you will lose all of your sponsoring fans. Active sponsoring fans at the time of cancellation will automatically receive a refund for the last month's payment of your channel membership. If it is necessary to issue refunds to members, your portion of the refund will be deducted from your account.

Warnings and violations

All content on Oshinstar is subject to our Community Guidelines. Everything you offer as part of your talent account memberships must meet the same policy standards as any content you post.

What if membership benefits violate our guidelines and policies?

Our team will review your account membership benefits that you submit before they are viewed by the public and will proceed to reject inappropriate ones if applicable. In the event of a minor non-compliance, you will receive a warning. If the non-compliance is serious or repeated, you may receive a Community Guidelines violation.

What happens if you receive a violation?

We understand that Talents make mistakes and do not intend to violate our policies. It is for this reason that the faults are not permanent and can be appealed. Each fault has a duration of 90 days.

As long as there is a fault on the account, you will not have access to certain Oshinstar features. To see which features are active, go to your account status and features page.

What happens if the channel receives 3 faults?

If you receive three violations of the Community Guidelines within a three-month period, your account will be closed.

How to appeal violations

If you believe that the offense was issued for no reason, you can appeal through your account or send us an email at .

What happens if the account memberships are cancelled?

If account memberships are cancelled because the account was terminated or the account left the Oshinstar Partner Program, or due to abuse, fraud or non-compliance with our terms or policies, all active paying members will receive a refund for the last month's payment. The account will be debited for your portion of the revenue to be refunded.
